channel my name is Jessica and today's
video is going to be on the look that I
get most compliments on when I post a
picture in it it's just focused on
Sunkissed cheeks glossy lips this video

so I'm gonna do Straight brows today
I'm just gonna sketch out the eyeliner
we're gonna use a mixture of brown and
black today
next I'm going in with the black liquid
liner this is the new REM Beauty one I
don't know if it's actually new but I
just got it it's a felt a pen but it's
super sharp like almost as sharp as
brush tip
next I'm taking my brown eyeliner and
defining the inner corner
and then just thinly line the rest of
the eye don't forget to line the Lash
line in waterline
I'm not going to do too much eyeshadow
but I wanted to do a wash of color with
this new palette I've got it's so pretty
taupe shade I'm just putting that all
over the lid
and then I'm actually going to pull the
liner down into the lower lash line I
love doing this for like a more salt
tree type of look
I'm going to take the darker brown let's
mix it with a block actually I'm just
going to smoke that out
next I'm gonna apply my double eyelet
tape since we're doing like a heavier
look today so every time I use this
people ask me what it is it's called a y
stick and you can use it with eyelid
glue or eyelet tape so this side usually
used with glue so you do this and then
you hold it there until the glue dries
and then this side I like to use to just
create the crease line and then press
down the tape
like that next I'm going to curl my
lashes
for mascara today I'm actually using a
different version of the kilosh super
proof mascara the one that I usually use
from Clio is the long curling one but
I've been really liking this one too
this is the volume curling so this one
the one's a little bit thicker
and then for Lashes I'm going to use
accent lashes today so these are the
type of lashes where you only put them
on the end of your eyes these I would
recommend for people who want to Contour
their eyes like they want to have that
lifting effect towards the end or people
who struggle with the inner Corner
lifting a lot because this one you only
put it on this side

moving on to the face I'm going to start
with the glow recipe watermelon at
dewdrops I've been breaking out a little
bit recently because I'm on my period
I love using this as primer it just
makes your makeup look so good
especially for people with dry skin who
deal with like dry patches I never get
dry patches with this
I've been seeing a lot of creators talk
about this recently I usually use it
like in the morning and at night time
but I just wanted to try it before
makeup today what it's supposed to do is
it's supposed to like help your skin
absorb any skincare products you put on
top of it better so yeah I've been
testing it out I'll let you guys know if
it works or not because that thing is
expensive I'm gonna use my Nars light
reflecting Foundation
I've seen a lot of stuff recently about
like the spatula you know people using a
spatula to apply their makeup I've tried
the spatula trick and I just prefer
using my fingers it's basically the same
thing except for your fingers help you
spread the product and warms up the
product a little bit
what are you guys doing today what are
you getting ready for I always wonder if
you guys are actually like getting ready
with me when you watch get ready with me
for me I'm getting ready for a date
we're going to her favorite Boba spot
I'm talking about myself by the way I
remember when I first uh posted that I
was going on a date with myself people
were asking me like why are you going on
a date by yourself if you're in a
relationship and honestly if you're in a
relationship there's even more reason to
be dating yourself like I genuinely
believe that you should always be going
on dates by yourself just spending
quality time with yourself it's
especially important when you're in a
relationship because you spend so much
time with another person but it's very
easy to Lose Yourself I want to use a
little bit of a brighter concealer and I
got this new one recently so let's try
it

serum foundation so I really wanted to
try this the applicator looks really
unique I've never seen an applicator
like this before but yeah that's
something that I I don't know if it's
from growing up not having a lot of
friends so maybe I was like by myself
more and I just learned to enjoy my time
alone but I really really like spending
time by myself I'll be out shopping by
myself or like just on a walk by myself
and I get so happy it's just something
about being by myself you know like the
feelings of happiness you get when you
spend quality time with your loved ones
it varies depending on the person right
like those feelings for me at least
they're very different from each other
so with myself the feeling is very
different from all those it's a feeling
that you cannot experience through being
with somebody else that's why I think
it's so important that you nourish your
relationship with yourself all
relationships in your life are important
but I think the one with yourself is
probably the most important just because
like that's
the person you live with for the rest of
your life so I might as well get to know
them and learn to love them when I first
started going out and doing things by
myself though I did feel anxious
sometimes and insecure but then I really
thought about it I was like where is
this even coming from what am I actually
afraid of that people are gonna think
I'm a loser loner freak nobody thinks
like that so yeah I just started going
out by myself more and
I love it I also think it's so powerful
when you love yourself enough to want to
spend time with yourself and take
yourself to nice places do nice things
with yourself that's like a level of
self-love that you should be proud of so
yeah I don't think going out by yourself
makes you a loser whenever I see people
by themselves out in public I'm like
she's cool I don't know if you can see
but there's a lot of Separation
happening around my nose like patchiness
you see that so I want to show you what
to do when this happens like in a
specific area a lot of people think that
you have to remove your entire base but
look the rest of my base looks fine it
would be a waste of time to do that so
what you need to do when this happens is
take a cotton pad and some micellar
water this is the Garnier one I like the
pink bottle it's my favorite and just
remove the area where there's the
patches
make sure all of it is removed and then
take a dry area of the cotton pad and
then go over that area
so that there's no like wet
micellar water
so now you see there's like a clear line
of distinction between the removed
makeup and the foundation right take a
moisturizer this is especially important
for people with dry skin if you just
leave the micellar water there and then
you try to put makeup back on top of it
it's gonna create dry patches so you
need to put moisturizer here and then
another thing that the moisturizer does
is it thins that part of the foundation
out so that when you apply foundation
over this area it doesn't look like two
different colors it's going to help
blend everything back together
this is the Nars reading creamy
concealer
and now you can see there's no more
patches
next let's cream Contour so I'm going to
use the Fenty cream bronzer
and I'm going to use a cream blush as
well this is some Cosmetics chiffon I
like to use both cream and powder
blushes and contour for my like heavier
looks because it makes it a lot longer
lasting it's just set everything
next for powder Contour I'm going to be
using my favorite colitis palette
in the past I used bronzer as blush
so we're going to do that today with the
one size
palette the lightest and this one
and then right under the eyes I want it
to be a little bit darker so I'm gonna
use the darker shade
I'm doing the button nose effect today
so I'm going to use a Shimmer from the
eyeshadow palette this shade
and that one's a little too chunky I
think let's use the Charlotte Tilbury
new gasm palette this one
don't you love when palettes have
mirrors in them like huge mirrors
we're gonna Contour the under eyes next
blend it in
the last apply lower lash mascara
and I've been seeing this contouring
trick on doing a lot lately where it's
just like highlighting underneath the
eyes and finally for lips I'm using the
peripera rosy nude lip liner

number 17 Rosie nude it's just the
perfect lip color for me so I'm just
applying a little bit of it today but a
product I think is super underrated from
peripera is actually their lip glosses
you know how in pictures of lip gloss
like people have those perfectly glazed
lips with no lip lines it's just a shiny
lip this will give you that look these
are the ink blasting lip glosses
glasting is actually a combination of
the words glass and Lasting to give you
a long lasting glass lip look so I'm
gonna do some swatches for you guys
there's a little dip in the center of
the applicator so when you apply it the
gloss coats your lips rather than
smudging product around so even with a
really thin layer the Perry paragloss
Never settles into your lip lines even
after smiling
